Another Happy Customer with their Castelgarden Compact Ride-On Mower

10 November 2016 2:07:28 pm AEDT

By Parklands Power Products
A very happy customer of Steves Mowers and Outdoor Equipment is more than happy to spread the word. Recently Bev and Stan from Ballina purchased a rear catcher from Steves Mowers & Outdoor Power Equipment. They are extremely happy with both the mower and the service they received from Steve. With their needs in mind Steve suggested they pick the XD966HD for the compact design and tight turning circle being suited to smaller blocks than traditional ride on mowers. Taking the effort out of pushing a mower but still having the maneuverability around tight corners and garden beds this mower suits Bev and Stan perfectly. Castelgarden “We bought this 26 inch rear catcher hydro ride-on mower from Steve’s Mowers & Outdoor Power Equipment on October 4, 2016. We would like to say that the before and after sales service was, and still is, excellent and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for great, friendly service and custom. The mower itself is a great little unit, easy to use and empty and we are very happy with it.” If you're in the area, why not visit Steve for some friendly advice. You can find Steve’s Mowers & Outdoor Power Equipment at 1/325 River Street, Ballina.

Parklander Mid Mount Mower 309029X92H

17 October 2016 12:38:11 pm AEDT

By Parklands Power Products
Entry level outdoor power equipment usually are sold with very basic specs. One could, of course, go for the next model up for more features. With the new Parklander Mid-Mount Ride-on Mower (Model no. 309029X92H), we find features and inclusions not normally found at the entry level. Featuring American styling by Murray, the new rider sports a powerful 14 hp 432 cc engine from Loncin. This gives the user more than enough grunt to cover larger grounds, while being more environmentally-attuned by meeting EPA Phase III requirements. Using Loncin’s specially-developed technology (patent pending) the unit provides in-engine emission control that results in lower emissions while providing better performance. Parklands Power Equipment managing director, Ron Zacka, describes the rider as “small enough to fit through gates, yet big enough for a small acreage. The new rider is a great balance of form and function that surpasses entry level requirements for this type of equipment.” Built tough to take it, the rider features a heavy gauge 30" deck. The rider has a choice of side discharge or mulching and collecting from the rear catcher (now standard for this model). Amazingly, with a 12" turning radius, the rider easily takes on tight turns and corners. Featuring an American built hydrostatic transmission with variable speed drive, the ride-on mower easily runs at a more than acceptable 12 kmph (6 kmph in reverse). As well, starting is easy using a key. Finally, Ron notes that the Loncin range of LCPower engines will be available Australia-wide through Parklands. These engines feature a uniquely designed combustion chamber and related components, to reduce emissions. The ignition system’s optimised ignition timing and improved spark energy enable the petrol mixture to burn more completely for improved power output.Read More
