Earth Augers in a Variety of Sizes
In Australia, earth augers are synonymous with post hole diggers. And, as such earth augers are the go-to tool for farmers and fencing contractors, especially during the cooler months. Tough and powerful are two important characteristics of earth augers, especially when used on very hard ground.
Fencing contractors are well aware of the important features that are required from augers. Being one of the most trusted suppliers of outdoor power equipment in Australia for nearly half a century, we are very familiar with all types of such equipment including augers.
Our auger range offers two models: an electric model (Redback) ideal for light duty work and use as a mixer for fluids like paint. Our other model is a very powerful Parklander that easily handles the toughest soils.
The Parklander earth auger is Japanese made, a truly professional unit. Designed for larger jobs and even commercial use, the Parklander Pro Engine Auger will take auger bits from 3’’ to 10”. This allows the user to tackle pretty much any post hole and similar digging jobs. The heart of the unit is a 1.9 hp (1.4 HW) 2-stroke engine, with a chrome-plated, stress relieved cylinder.
Other features include a Walbro carburettor and a forged steel connection rod. The gear reduction ratio is 34:1.
The Redback auger is a battery-operated unit. This light duty auger uses a brushless motor that observes the possible optimum speed. This means that it won’t shut down even when you are working in tougher areas. This state-of-the-art technology makes sure the machine only utilises the power necessary for the job at hand. So, it doesn’t waste battery and motor life and maximizes run time. It also has a five planetary gear transmission that boosts efficiency and power. The ergonomic handle makes sure you are safe and comfortable even when working for hours on end.
Our earth augers and mixers are toughly made. They are durable, reliable, and last long. It should stay with you for many years to come so you can handle all earth drilling and mixing tasks with ease.
